POLICIES AND PROTOCOLS

Art classes, camps and events at Westerly Studio are so much fun! We want to make sure everyone who participates here has the best experience possible and to do that, we want to make sure you're aware of our expectations and protocols.

Please read the policies pertaining to your Westerly Studio class, camp or event carefully, and feel free to reach out to us with any questions.

CLASSES

  • Full session payment is due at the time of enrollment. Because of the limited capacity and (usually!) high demand of art classes, we do not offer makeups or refunds for missed classes, even if you know you will miss ahead of time. If you have an extenuating circumstance, we will handle each cancellation on a case by case basis.

  • All cancellations made after enrollment are nonrefundable. Although, in the event there is a wait list you can cancel your class for a $50 processing fee.

  • We love our artists to feel confident creating independently, so all art classes in the studio are drop off. We will have a space for you to hang out during class in the front of the studio, or feel free to grab a coffee around the corner.

  • No early drop-off or late pickup. We do not offer before or aftercare. Any late pickups are subject to late fees.

camps

  • Full payment is due at the time of enrollment, which includes a nonrefundable deposit for your camp. Nonrefundable deposits are $100. All cancellations made more than 30 days prior to camp start date are eligible to receive a full refund, minus the deposit. Cancellations made before 30 days of the camp's start date are nonrefundable.

  • You may transfer an enrollment to a sibling or friend (if they are in the appropriate age range for the camp).

  • Transferring enrollment to another week will be handled on a case-by-case basis. It will depend on the number of available spots in each camp and the amount of time given.

  • No early drop-off or late pickup. We do not offer before or aftercare. Any late pickups are subject to late fees.

  • Masks: as of 11/29/22 , in compliance with the CDC, masking is now optional for all (including students and their families, and staff). If you prefer to wear a mask, please continue to do so!

EVENTS

  • A non-refundable payment for 1/2 of your event is due at time of booking. The remainder is due the day of your event.

  • Host family may arrive 20 minutes prior to party start time.

  • All guests are expected to depart when your party time ends. Host family is allotted 15-20 minutes to gather belongings and head out. Host will be charged $50 per 15 minutes of unauthorized late departure time..

  • If you choose to bring any decor, please keep in mind: all items must be pre-assembled (ie: banners pre-strung, centerpieces assembled, florals made etc). We do not allow piñatas or confetti. You can add wall decor if it doesn’t damage our walls.

  • You are welcome to bring any any additional food you'd like!
